The ins and outs of thyroid cancer :)

Well, after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer on Thursday, I'm getting ready to have surgery to remove my thyroid on Monday. It has been an eye-opening experience to say the least! :) The good news is it's VERY treatable, with a complete cure rate of about 95%. The surgery and follow up radioactive iodine treatment have really high success rates, and I'm very confident everything is going to turn out just fine.
